She graduated from the Universiti Malaya with the degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2010. She then served 3 years in the Malaysian Armed Forces at Lumut Navy Hospital as a dental officer before pursuing her studies in Orthodontics.

In 2017, she obtained her Masters in Orthodontics degree from the Universiti Malaya and MOrth diploma from Royal College of Surgeons of England. Currently, she is a lecturer in the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Malaya with a special interest in Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) and clear aligner therapy.
